Description  

Adbone®VCP is a porous synthetic ceramic, containing 99.9% beta tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP), designed for the filling of bone voids or defects, and is available in several geometries (granules and cylinders).

Adbone®VCP macroporosity and porous interconnectivity allows an excellent osteointegration, as well as a total vascularization of the implant with an excellent mechanical resistance.

     

  

 

Adbone®VCP is highly bioactive, stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts, allowing a total replacement by new vital bone during the healing process, within 1-6 months.

Adbone®VCP is Radiopaque, allowing the perfect monitorization of osteointegration.

 

Indications  

Adbone®VCP is intendend to be used as a bone void filler or augmentation material for bone defects that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure:

  • Fractures with bone defect;
  • Vertebral arthrodesis;
  • Tibial osteotomy;
  • Tibial and femoral fracture;
  • Total knee and hip revision;
  • Spine surgery.
